Description
The US Operations Reporting Analyst is an integral part of the Group Operations team which supports data management, analytics, compliance reporting, and oversight on existing operational reports. This role will be fundamental in supporting group and local Operational reporting through significant business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage operational processes and systems change
- Ensures stability of operational reporting throughout systems transformation
- Maintenance and expansion of Group Operations KPI reporting
- Own data reporting issues through resolution, partnering across various departments
- Monitor and remediate data quality issues to support external reporting and comply with group system requirements
- Represent Operations in all systems transformation efforts and IT delivery (requirements, testing and operational roll-out)
Provide business support for Operational processes and reporting
- Delivery of production reporting data sets to support connected Accelerant organization (Finance, Compliance, Reinsurance, Underwriting and Exposure Management)
- Support Regulatory Compliance reporting and project activities
- Support continuous improvement of premium and claim production processes
- Perform reconciliations and enhance monitoring controls
- Project manage delivery of production activities and department initiatives
Core Capabilities
Experience
- Data analysis experience using EXCEL, SQL, and Data Bricks
- Technical reporting tools using Power BI or equivalent
- 3 + years experience working with large datasets in Operations, IT, or project roles
- 3 + years insurance, reinsurance, or financial services experience preferred
- Project management/Business Analyst/Data Analyst experience preferred
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; MIS/CIS, Business, or similar preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environment and flexibility dealing with significant operational change
- Able to take direction and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills around highly technical items
