As the first marketing hire at Accelerant, your work will solidify our brand, build awareness of Accelerant, and drive demand and loyalty among our prospects. As we grow, you will have the ability to expand and shape the marketing function for scale

Mission: Own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution to accelerate Accelerant’s growth, with an ability to reach across the marketing stack to select and pull the most critical levers, spanning growth, brand, partner, and enterprise marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Work alongside our team to clearly define and articulate Accelerant’s value proposition for our customers and prospects
  • Establish Accelerant as a thought leader in the space through content marketing
  • Work collaboratively to develop materials that explain Accelerant to our prospects, ranging from case studies to one-pagers and presentations
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external contractors to maintain the corporate website and blog in line with our brand strategy
  • Own all corporate social media channels as well as our blog
  • Oversee the events strategy, budget, and execution of an events playbook and manage our event resources to deliver thoughtful experiences, significant lead generation and opportunities to deepen relationships with Members and customers alike
  • Identify, evaluate,and execute paid marketing activities and build a roadmap of opportunities that help drive brand awareness, education,and net new leads
  • Work to develop a set of KPIs and reporting cadences to deliver result readouts the leadership team

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience across a wide range of marketing activities, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Creative, hungry, and results-oriented marketer with a knack for writing and a bias toward action
  • Proven track record of creating successful client marketing, communication strategies, and presentations to support acquisition, implementation and retention
  • Ability to operate in a collaborative, fast-paced cross-functional environment; prior start-up experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to present complex material to customers, press, and other key stakeholders in a compelling way
  • Nice to have: Skills in PowerPoint, Canva, or other platforms that enable us to execute on presentation and design needs quickly.


  • Translate our marketing strategy into tangible plans and execute against ambitious goals
  • Hone Accelerant’s positioning, messaging, and branding to effectively tell our story
  • Develop and institutionalize best practices for demand generation, with a focus on tracking, measuring, and communicating performance
  • Build, maintain, measure, and optimize our marketing channel mix, particularly organic growth initiatives
  • Clearly define quantifiable objectives with a detail-oriented approach to tracking, executing, and optimizing projects


Ideal candidate has a background in B2B startups, with an understanding of how to effectively use brand & content, and experience working in a high-velocity business with enterprise customers

  • Excels in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a B2B startup
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to toggle between brand, data-driven performance marketing, and social marketing
  • Experience driving customer acquisition, retention, and expansion initiatives
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong executive presence and ability to creatively align with partners
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Proactive self-starter
